Re: “Rebel flag still waves in Highland

come on when are we going to stop calling everything racist, I say if they want to fly that flag then let them. Hey look in that picture there is a black guy, I don't see anyone trying to hurt him or mess with him. To tell you the truth he looks like he is having a great time and he is surrounded by a bunch of white people wearing the flag. The day when people will forget the word racism is the day America will move forward. I am sick every time someone does something we have to bring the word racism into it. Every time a cop does his job he is a racist, throw down that crutch. We have elected a black president, we have college funds just for black people, we have the Black caucus and allot of other only black organizations but you don't see anyone attacking them. these are a bunch of kids keeping up a school tradition and if you don't like it then change the freedom law and the bill of rights that protect us to do stuff like this. The only time you can call someone a true racist is someone who's spends their time going after people that are different from them with violence and harassment, like the Muslim terrorist groups. How about instead of using the word racist for violent hate crimes we use the word terrorist because isn't that what they are doing? they are using violence to push their beliefs. what is funny is I am sure that someone will call me a racist for exercising my freedom of speech. I hope we can all move forward from the past and live the true American dream I am not saying forget because we must learn from history and make sure that nothing like that will happen again. God Bless
