Cotham's In The City | Downtown | American | Dining

Restaurant Details

A Capitol neighborhood version of the famous Scott country store, with the same specialties — giant hubcap hamburgers, well-fried plate lunches and monumental desserts.

Features: ,

Price: $-$$

Serving: L Mon.-Fri.

Burger Details

While the Hubcap Burger has achieved a certain level of fame, the regular cheeseburger ($7.29 with fries) is probably a more reasonable choice. Half the size of the hubcab, the griddle-charred beauty comes with melted-on cheese, purple onion, iceberg shreds, tomato and pickles under a seedless bun. The excellent house seasoning is available for sale.

Cornbread Details

Johnnycakes. If you've only ever tried the burger at Cotham's, you've missed out on the full experience. Cotham's serves up its cornbread selection like unsweetened flapjacks with margarine; they're nicely crusty on the outside and crumbly in the middle. Get you a mess of collard greens with that.
