Re: “'Good guys with guns' complicate hunt for Walmart shooter in Colorado

As I have noted many time in the past, the Virgina Tech death toll could have been worse as the first police to arrive were plains clothes officers who were nearby and the only description of the shooter was "a man with a gun". With a lot of Howdy Doodys running around looking for another doofus with a gun, there could have been the NRA's dream scenario-piles of bodies and no one knowing whether the bad guy(s) was one of them.

And every time I read a news report of the SWAT teams breaking into a house to serve a warrant and they find they were at the wrong address, the good guy in the home who goes for his gun shalt be forever know as "deceased #1".

Re: “Government report details climate change threat

Sometime, even the Trump administration allows the truth to slip out (when there is no alternative).

To be followed by Pruitt running around saying that contaminated air, water and ground are of minor
concern except for penguins pulling the plants and we need to be able to plant cotton around the north pole area.

Re: “Jason Rapert v. the Friendly Atheist

The Friendly Atheist should just inform the local IR S office that there may be a lot of unreported income raised by RAPERt hiding in his usual guise as a "church".

If he was smart, all that money raised has been documented by an independent auditor and the extra monies either returned to the giver or the use documented that it was spend in a charitable manner.

Re: “Rutledge goes to meddling again, this time to stop legal abortion in Texas

So Ms. Leslie is in favor of more "anchor babies" American citizens?

Re: “LR told D.C. before it told city residents it wasn't going after Amazon

Has the person who penned this piece of "literature" ever been to Little Rock?

There were three "musts" and a bunch of "wants". Normal screening is that you toss any that don't meet all three of the "musts" and then sort and grade on the "wants".

At least, we didn't try to waste time on trying to make the city's population look like a million people. It is hard to make the current airport an international airport since we can't even get you to a major US city other than an airline hub.

Can we use this letter to show that we don't need that concrete gulch where I-30 stands?

Re: “David Dunn, former legislator and election integrity commission member, died Monday

I demand a full investigation into Kobach's and Donald Trump's involvement in Dunn's death (in the best tradition of partisan witch hunts we learned from the GOP).
