Re: “Over the hump. Open line and daily news roundup

One of Trumps multitude of unpresidential qualities is his inability to think about the consequences of his actions. Due to his anti-immigration policies, California farmers are stuck with crops they cant find anyone to harvest.

In Santa Barbara County, California, massive amounts of crops are being left to waste due to lack of labor. The current labor shortage is a whopping 26%. So far, an estimated $13 million worth of strawberries, broccoli, leafy greens, and other unharvested produce were left to rot.

Re: “Breakthrough: Health Department to issue birth certificates for both same-sex parents

How much did this case of religious bigotry cost the state in defending the undefendable?

Re: “At press conference on 10 Commandments monument destruction, Rapert takes ACLU, Freethinkers, local media to task for 'fomenting hatred'.

Rapert needs to recognize that while he is pointing a finger at those who believe in the US Constitution and separation of church and this multi-religious state, that there are 4 fingers (actually 3 fingers and a thumb pointing at himself), a real purveyor of hate speech.

Re: “Freedom From Religion Foundation on monument destruction

Viper, since this is the 2nd time (he also drove over one in Oklahoma) and his writings show major Christian influence, it would appear to be that his version of Christianity, doesn't like people worshiping false images (like #1 on that tablet).

And since RAPERt and the rest of the legislature seem to worship MoMoney first and everything else 2nd, maybe the problem is within the various cults and sects of Christianity. Just like Islam, Christianity has many variations, many of whom preach against each other.

Welcome to the world, little one, as long as we can keep greed and the Trumpster from destroying it and us.

Re: “State prepares for federal probe of legislators' records

Why is "just do the right thing" so damn hard for state legislators?

Re: “Medical Association says Arkansans look unfavorably on Obamacare changes

Obviously the average Arkansan is smarter than their elected officials, both in DC and in Little Rock. It isn't a "healthcare" bill. It is a "wealthcare" bill with poor people giving their rich "betters" more money that will not be spent and not help the economy at all.

The best description is that the Walmart part-time non-benefited employees are giving up their money to help the over-stuffed Waltons. What is wrong with this picture?
