Re: “When Johnny Reb comes marching to Hot Springs

TDurden, in due time all will be revealed. I'm not known as crypto for nothing.

this story reminds me of having visitors from New York City several years ago. we took them to Hot Springs and during a tour of the Fordyce Bath House finding virulent, racist anti-black propaganda literature scattered all over the place, in neat stacks that looked like it was intended to be there. I took some to the attendant at the front and asked why this was tolerated. she gave a tepid apology and said she would take care of it.

our Yankee guests were seriously not amused and their impression of Arkansas was forever tarnished. or maybe they just got a true impression of the "culture" of Arkansas, its more than catfish and purple hull peas. I forwarded this article to them for a laugh.

Re: “When Johnny Reb comes marching to Hot Springs

why not create a Southern Heritage theme park in Alabama or Mississippi, maybe at the ARK in Kentucky, as a place to relocate all Confederate monuments? at the center would be a huge Southern Baptist church with a huge statue of Jesus draped in a KKK outfit atop the steeple. thats where you'd find the SHEEPLE, praying to Jesus on the steeple. Praying their lives away for the South to rise agin!

the "lady" in the whoop skirt would be so happy there.

free admittance to all the lucky devils who have proof of confederate ancestors. honorary life memberships to all who can prove their confederate ancestors were slave owners.

what a pathetic mess we have here.

Re: “White supremacists hold torchlight rally in Charlottesville

just now HuffPost had a photo of the tiki torch carrying white supremacists, one of whom was wearing a red shirt emblazoned with:

No surprise. anyone recognize him?

Re: “Mitch Landrieu on the removal of Confederate tributes in New Orleans

what a wonderful, eloquent and uplifting speech in the age of trump.

there is a bronze bust of Albert Pike in NOLA, at 700 S. Jefferson Davis Parkway at Tulane. I wonder if Albert is coming down?

I think there are two confederate monuments in LR, one at McArthur Park and one at the State Capitol. I don't think they will be going anywhere soon.

Re: “Governor's proposed cuts to Medicaid eligibility will increase costs for working poor; likely to increase uninsured rate

It's all part of the good Christian Republican plan to punish the poor for being poor. And to make sure they remain poor please don't give them any advantages that might help lift them out of poverty.
Help make America great again by sacrificing your healthcare you poor bastards.
We must increase military spending!
