Re: “New Yorker: Why the rush on Arkansas executions? And questions for the governor.

And some natives who have come to loathe the culture of this state will be leaving shortly, realizing that the condition of Darkansas will only continue to spiral downward into the bottomless pit of willful ignorance.

Re: “Judge Griffen says NO to LR school taxation without representation; no 'field hand' for chamber, Waltons.

Judge Griffen is correct as always. Vote No! Taxation without representation. That is an old American concept.

My days in Darkansas are coming to an end soon! Yea! Can't be soon enough.

Re: “Linda Collins-Smith drops bathroom bill for this session

How about a law that mandates placing Bibles in every toilet stall? It is the state book after all. The sight of God's word might help weak men control impure thoughts in regard to the person in the adjoining stall. The law could also require the playing of recordings of Mike Huckabee reciting prayer. Dear Lord, we just, FLUSH, pray away the gay. FLUSH

Re: “Little Rock makes a Sweet 16. It's not a good thing

before the Urban Renewal program hit (the beginning of white flight) in the 1960's, when Little Rock was a genuine small city, most of what are now parking lots were filled with buildings and people.

It was an urban tragedy. Once something is destroyed it is very difficult to replace.

Re: “A morals clause at the emergency room: Your legislature at work

and yet ANOTHER reason for me to leave. In fact its already a done deal but I like the roll of confirmations coming from the leg.
I see a brain drain building up in Darkansas, this crap makes the national news ya know? A constant stream of negative press about regressive Arkansas makes an impact on people's impressions. Who would be attracted to this place? White supremacists? Sweat Shop owners? who knows?
