Re: “Governor gives surgeon general vote of confidence

It is good the the governor listened to the audio. Around 15 minutes in (as posted) Dr. thompson asks a couple of times what he is being charged with. He gets no reply. Then he can be heard saying "You are making a mistake". That is it. Yet both the police report and the use of force report have the same quote: While enroute Thompson advised me he was " the surgeon general and you have made a mistake because I work for the Governor." That quote is a lie. It was known to the officers writing the reports that it was a lie because they had access to the tapes at the time. Yet that is apparently the only basis of the "attempt to influence" charge. It is a class A misdemeanor to file a report with a law enforcement agency of alleged criminal wrongdoing knowing it to be false. It becomes a class D felony if it leads to spending $500 or more in public money including labor or leads to an arrest. Are the reporting officers being investigated ? Will they be charged or does the City believe that the police can lie in a police report with impunity because the laws don't apply to them ?

Re: “Newsletter describes Stephens Inc. security

A less official view of Stephens Security employees can be ascertained by reviewing the web and facebook pages of former self described "Senior Security Officer" at Stephens aka "Master" Bernie Major at his personal facebook page and the web and facebook pages of his current gig The Defensive Tactics Institute in Roland. "Master" Major still lists his Stephens phone number on his state police conceled weapons instructor license. Looks to me like just the kind of guy you want patroling your neighborhood at night with a gun. Reckon any of the Stephens women have signed up for Bernie's "Babes and Bullets Club"

Re: “Minority tyranny works UPDATE

Wait a minute.

I think Bradford et al. pulled a rabbit out of the hat: Couldn't get the substantive bill passed in the last week of the session So now have $1,000,000.00 to spend and just have to substantively call it an interim study for the committee rather than "planning".

If the tea party wants bragging rights they will only be bragging to each other who are too ignorant to know they were hood winked on the substance
