Re: “Court of Appeals upholds denial of a fence in Quapaw Quarter

For the angry taxpayer who doesn't know what he is talking about. Boyd Maher approved the 40 in fence, but the owner choose to put up a 48 in fence instead without a permit. Boyd can't approve a fence over 40 in., that must go to the Commission. If you feel compeled to comment at least learn the facts. Also for the others, the lawsuit was filed by the owner, not by the Commission or the A.G.'s office.

Re: “Agency kills rezoning for Capitol office building

If you think this city is to be saved by a five story building in front of the Capitol then you are disillusioned. I need to remind you that preservations did not put this Commission into place, it was created by the State of Arkansas through a legislative act requiring the support of the legislative and executive branches of our government. Developers are interested in making money or building monuments to themselves, not in preserving the dignity of our Capitol. Yes the developers can move on a few blocks down the road and put in his building. There is plenty of available room in downtown Little Rock
What does the height of a fence have to do with this anyway?
