Re: “Gay pride parade on in Fayetteville

Our founding fathers wore tights, makeup and wigs....but the white straight males would call that a cross dresser today, people change, things change and laws change. Women couldn't vote, women couldn't use their names on their inventions and America has changed moving more towards freedom for all not just a few, thank God for all those who fought for Equal Rights and continue fighting today. We still have racism, hate and those who still believe that whites are the only ones who should have money, power and freedom. The fact is God created Mankind equal and without explanation. It is our duty first as human beings to love one another and our duty as Americans to stand firm on freedom and equal rights for all Humans and Americans. We will always have haters, racist and those come in all races, religions and countries. There is Good and Bad, right and wrong, but more so we need to respect ourselves and until we do we will never have respect for each other, because when you truly have love and respect in your heart for others you will understand more about you and your own life. Allowing others to live their life the way they choose will give you that understanding more about how hard others who were suppressed and had to fight for their rights, unlike those who had never had to fight for their rights, marriage or freedom and have taken advantage of it and others only breeds hate. Equal Rights takes away the Power of Hate and Hate Crimes and holds the individual responsible for his/her actions and or ill behaviors. If you don't like one religion, group or race then move on, as we all live in this world together and regardless of our diffrences, we are all learning to do just that. How sad it is for some to actually believe that they based on their race, religion or country should be the only ones to enjoy their rights and or freedoms. Peace, Love and Happiness towards All. Thats the only language The Universe teaches and in returns understands.
