Re: “Humanist Association explains lawsuit over Baxter County nativity scene

The Funny thing is I bet not one of you who is using the first amendment as your leg to stand can even recite it the way it is Written, not the way you perceive it. Since it is the freedom of religion, not freedom from religion. I find it funny also that you say we don't follow the laws, when most of our laws in this country come from the bible and our christian faith. So we should take out do not murder, steal, or lie because those are all biblical laws. We should also take out our public intoxication laws as well because those are also biblical principles. You are the same people who tell ministers that they must perform marriages for gay people even though it is against their religious practices. Where are the rights for the ministers that loose their licenses because they refuse to perform those marriages. When the law clearly states that we should not murder under our law where is all the rights of the 100s and thousands of unborn babies that die each year. They have the right to life and yet you allow it to happen every year. The manger scene is just that a decoration on the law it only holds significants to those who believe in Jesus. No different than santa, a christmas tree, a statue of buddha means nothing to anyone who is not Buddhists. The pagan star means nothing to those who do not worship satan as well. I don't live a life of doing what a preacher tells me to I have a bible that directs my life and I have a God who sent his son to die on the cross for my sins and your sins. By the way it is true christians who will feed you when you are hungry or cloth you when you are naked or visit you when you are in prison. It is a christian organization who will provide medical supplies to you in baxter County when you can't afford them. It is a christian organization who is providing a sanctuary for battered women and children. It is a christian organization who is providing food at food banks. It is a christian organization that is providing basketball and other sports for young children to participate in, mostly homeschool kids and underprivileged children and special needs children.
Our religion teaches us to follow the laws of the land for the most part with a few exceptions until it asks to do things that are not in the bible.

It is not true christians who blow up abortion clinics or kill doctors they are just bunch of people has it wrong that call themselves christians but are not. It is not true christians who rally around fallen soldiers Funerals because the soldier claims to be gay. A true Christian also does not rape and sleep with young girls because their "God" told them to.

A true christian is told by reading the bible that God wants all to enter the kingdom of heaven he died for all of us. It says that a gay mans sins are no different than that of a murder's and no different than that of someone who lies, or who lusts for a woman or man. For all have fallen short of the glory of God. That is why Jesus came to die for our sins. You have to choose him and be obedient to the word of God that is written in the bible. A true Christian does everything out of Love because they know the greatest of God's commandments is to love one another, with unconditional, never ending, never changing, Love. Not the kind of love you can fall in and out of but the kind of love that never changes, and who loves all and wants to save all.
