Re: “Ruth Coker Burks, the cemetery angel

This story is close to my heart. My youngest brother died of AIDS in 1995. He was ostracized by many family members before his demise, then afterwords by an alleged Godly man (or men) of the cloth. He was cremated, however, the only Catholic church in that town wouldn't allow the urn inside the church for his funeral. Sadly, the urn sat outside on the steps. Had I been able to attend, as bad as this may sound, the urn would have been inside or I would have kicked that priests ass (in the name of God of course), and gone to jail just to expose his hypocrisy along with the diocese. This was a moving article. Thank you for it David. And thank you Ruth, for without you, this story would not be. My e-mail is rstone414@gmail.com. I'd like to help with the memorial. If anyone knows how I can, please contact me.
