I agree with that question. I am 47 and never married. One reason is we men can't afford it. We can't afford to buy a home and the banks aren't lending money.
Another reason is it is ADVANTAGEOUS for the women to be single.
The government will pay for the birth, the woman gets food stamps, section 8 housing and vouchers for free babysitting. If she marries "my baby daddy" then she will lose those benefits.
Likewise if widows re-marry they lose the social security they collect from their deceased spouse.
The government is against marriage, it's part of the divide and conquer strategy in the breakdown of the American Family. If everybody depends on the government, the government has more control.
