Re: “No vote on landlord-tenant bill after realtor association declares opposition

Going for the record. You are incorrect. AR is one of the very few states that use public law enforcement to collect back rent if a renter skips out. AR is a continual embarrassment to the country with a backward laws. Surprise, surprise, surprise one or more of our esteemed Legislature owns rental property and is against this bill. But by God we have at least 7 unconstitutional abortion bills that will sail through to Asa's desk.

Re: “Ballinger's bill to roll back minimum wage increase amended, could be run next week

This crook, who should be in prison, is an embarrassment to our state. By ALL means, let's make sure people with developmental disabilities aren't paid as much as people who don't suffer from DD. Let's make sure a prisoner, who has served his time, can't earn a decent wage and try to end a cycle of crime. Ballard suffers from DD AND should be in prison.

Re: “Hester files bill to shroud execution process in more secrecy

Bart Hester has NEVER filed or proposed a bill that our state could be proud of. I always think he has reached the lowest of the low each session, but then he sinks even lower. I was astounded the low information residents of his district actually promoted him to a Senator. Especially after the shady dealings with the private school and those headed to prison.

Re: “State Board rejects Haas Hall report; moves to shift students at failing Covenant Keepers

So Lighthouse, who had a history of failing, gets yet another chance for 3 years? Why didn't they do the same for LRSD? Oh that's right. That wouldn't fit into the Walton's long range plans.

Re: “House passes income tax cut for rich

Oddly enough, Asa and his mafia don't address our overall low taxes and other areas CEO's look at fir locating in AR. Big companies will look at our regressive social issues and skip AR. They won't locate in a state that codified anti-gay legislation, crazy gun rights laws and other terrible legislation we have passed. I defy Asa to tell us one large company that located here due to the 1% tax cut 2 years from now. The CEO myth was only created as cover for giving a big gift to the Wakton family and the other 1%

Re: “You think the legislature is bad now? Consider Trent Garner's latest

Do what, please compare our overall tax rate before jumping on the tax break bandwagon. We are lower overall and consistently rated as one if the cheapest states to live. The cost of this bill in addition to what Asa wants to spend on highway repairs and the mega expensive I30 expansion will put us in serious debt. Asa's theory that increased revenue will pay is exactly the theory Kansas spewed. You see how that worked for them.
Ok72076, we have some of the worst Legislators (and corrupt) in the country. We don't need to give them a chance to do to us annually what they currently do semi-annually.

Re: “House committee preserves tax cut for the wealthy

These same people touting all the businesses that will suddenly make AR home don't want to discuss the fact our overall taxes are lower than surrounding states. Asa's fantasy about more revenue paying for this boondoggle for the wealthy will end up like the Brownback disaster in KS. Maybe then we will escape the grip of the Hutchinson/ Hendren "mafia" running our state.
