Re: “Rep. Bob Ballinger wants to keep fighting over birth certificates

All I know is that if I had made that sort of argument in law school they would not have let me become a lawyer. Take his law license away. He clearly doesn't value it.

As the old mocking Boy Scout Camp song goes, "Hallelujah! Amen! Pass the plate around again!"

Re: “UT-Fayetteville? Woo.

Just goes to show that if you aren't smart enough to get into UT, the UA administration and Fayetteville property developers will be more than happy to take your money.

Re: “Rep. Kim Hendren files bill to ban cell phones in public school

I don't really care one way or another. Cell phones weren't allowed in class when I was at Little Rock Central High (and there were a few teachers who would hold them for you when security would come through looking for them). However, that being said, any person who talks about technology like that"email, or however they doInstagram or whatever they do" probably has no business drawing up legislation about something he clearly doesn't grasp/understand. I suppose back in his day one had to hike 4 miles uphill in the snow to ogle young ladies.

Re: “Sen. Jim Hendren files bill to increase penalty for shooting at law enforcement offers

The interesting thing is that the course of conduct described in this amendment sounds an awful lot like "attempted capital murder," which is also a class y felony. Sounds like an unnecessary waste of the legislature's time in an attempt to score publicity points to me.
