I looked up the definition of negligent homicide and Judge Naramore's actions absolutely fit into that category--in that, through his own actions, he accidentally caused the death of his son. I wasn't in the jurors' box, so I don't know what was said or shown that could possibly have encouraged any of them to vote that Naramore was not guilty. The TV news reported that three of the jurors initially found him guilty but were persuaded to change their votes. In this case, an obviously guilty defendant got off without penalty. Even a guilty verdict with probation would have left people feeling that justice had been served, in that he had been held accountable.

Judge Naramore should absolutely resign or be dismissed as a judge. How can he possibly rule with a straight face against other parents who put their children in danger? Why should any parents be held accountable in his court when he has not been?
