Re: “LR pays for 141 cops to commute outside city in cop cars

Sorry Max. I often agree with you but your arguments here are specious. Are you actually suggesting that public service workers should be forced to live in specific areas or boundaries? Are you suggesting that they not be allowed the same freedom of choice as every other citizen? Seems a bit anti-worker to me.... Or do you feel that this group of people should somehpw have less rights than others? I live in LR and have neighbors who apparently work for fire and law enforcement agencies in Saline county and in North Little Rock. They have a right to choose where they live as do you and I. How about instead a little more attention to things like our fine right wingnut legislators complaining that the schools and health department are mistreating all of those fine upstanding NW Arkansas families whose unvacinated kids must stay home from school?

Re: “Jason Rapert mad at "group of atheists" for Ten Commandments monument criticism

PROVERBS tells us. "There are six things that the LORD strongly dislikes, seven that are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil, a false witness who breathes out lies, and one who sows discord among brothers." Seems Mr Rapert may have violated about 2/3 of the list.....

Re: “Arkansas State University finds demand for an osteopathic med school

DO programs are just like MD programs. They both turn out some fine physicians, some good ones, and some...others. Arkansas needs a second option for medical students. The state legislature stepped in to UAMS several years ago and now dictates that instead of accepting the best students in Arkansas, UAMS has to accept a set number from each congressional region of the state EVEN if they are not the most qualified.....
