Re: “Little Rock Mayor Mark Stodola urges Gov. Asa Hutchinson to veto HB1228: "too divisive"

Stodola "no veterans on Main Street" is a gutless bully on his best day. He apparently stuck his finger up and figured oh, what the bell, might as well make a show of tepid support for the people that have put up with him claiming to be a Democrat all these years. That he is the Mayor of Little Rock, where the big stuff happens, is a testament to how shallow the bench really is.

Re: “Arkansas State Chamber urges governor and legislature to maintain "business-friendly" reputation — but does not call for HB 1228 veto

Just like the Wal-Mart jerks, the Chamber of Commerce has the power and money to control much of what happens in city and state government. (See the takeover of Little Rock Public Schools). Like Asa!!, they could have been a force for good and pressured these idiots to make a different choice. After passing the tough choices off to one task force after another, Asa passed up the opportunity to lead on this issue, and allowed himself to be yanked into the mud pit with the rest of these bottom-feeders. The fact that they all pipe up, at the last minute, and express some mealy-mouth concern about this travesty is just about as impressive as those who claim it's not about discrimination.

Re: “Susan G. Komen cutting off Planned Parenthood

Hoodlifter has obviously had too many of those hoods fall on his noggin'. Does anyone think he would be quite so "go along and get along" if we were voting on forcing him to chop off the little jewels? Maybe with a forced ultrasound beforehand, and a mirror with which to view the actual chop? Even if they held the cure for everything from bad breath to ALS, I don't believe he'd be quite so eager to offer his body (or it's parts) up to be harvested at the whims of the public. Of course, he can *say* otherwise.... he knows that in this society, we would NEVER be allowed to vote on what happens to men's bodies -- with or without their consent.

Always fun to hear from the "right to life" crowd talk about giving more rights to a fetus while decimating the rights of the woman carrying it. It's not an accident they don't want to actually say that this kind of logic would allow a child rape victim to die from that pregnancy (along with the fetus) to prove their point. There's always a "hardass" willing to play the odds that it won't be his own daughter.
