An opening reception at UA Pulaski Technical College's Center for Humanities and the Arts ushers in two photography exhibits: "Danny Lyon: Memories of the Southern Civil Rights Movement" and "A Peace of My Mind: American Stories," a multimedia project focused on interpretations of peace, with live music from saxophonist Barry McVinney and pianist Tom Cox, 6 p.m., 3000 W. Jocko entertains at Oaklawn Racing & Gaming, in the Hot Springs casino's Pops Lounge, 5 p.m. Fri.-Sat., and the John Calvin Brewer Band holds down the late-night rock set at Silks Bar & Grill, 10 p.m. Fri.-Sat., free.
