Re: “Eureka Springs shines on the Daily Show

To "Couldn't be Better"

Randall Christy does not even reside in Eureka Springs. He resides in Ada, Oklahoma. A couple years ago his Gospel Station Network bailed out the Great Passion Play before the bank foreclosed on it. So we have been stuck with his presence since.

His "church" he was filmed in is an old building that was moved to the Great Passion Play grounds several years ago. From what I can tell they just use it for weddings. http://www.greatpassionplay.org/weddings.html#.VbpQKvm6eUk

Christy is the pastor of Union Valley Baptist Church in Ada, OK:

I wish the Daily Show would've clarified that part.

Most of the people causing the stink over the ordinance, putting up signs around OUR town, making robo-calls, were NOT Eureka Springs residents. As you can clearly see by the outcome of the vote. While it's clear Mr. Christy thinks he can still speak for the residents of Eureka Springs (albeit making a complete fool of himself on national television trying to do so), hopefully the rest of these poor persecuted Christians have slithered back to under their rocks outside of Eureka Springs. (I say that as a Christian Eureka Springs resident)
