Re: “A suspension and feuding in Bentonville School District over a borrowed Bobcat

I caught wind of this misdeed and became infuriated, not only as a taxpayer but as a BPS employee. Trust is the foundation of leadership. Why would a Director that possesses the kind of mindset it takes to steal District's funds for his own personal gain, remain employed once caught with his hand in the till? How talented is Mr. Wallace that the executive decision to keep his type of moral and mental qualities on board outweighs any of his wrongdoing?

Realizing theft has occurred within the highest ranks of BPS leadership has sullied my trust towards them, rocking the foundation that is touted to be so strong. BPS leadership can't effectively influence with the shortcuts they've taken, placing their agendas ahead of the entrusted public and BPS employees. We all deserve a better leadership journey. I feel Dr. Jones' decision making skills are questionable in that she seemingly doesn't know the way, go the way, or show the way. Some things, such as reputational damage, cost far more than just money.

I would like to give this unwavering "Citizen Connie" a cigar! She has fiery convictions to kick open a door that BPS prefers to remain shut. BPS will pay taxpayer's funds to Mr. Ney (how much??) to utilize his lawyer tricks to threaten to crucify her attempts at disseminating the knowledge she's gained, though. Because of this, it will end far more costly to us all than the $7500 that was stolen. My hunches are saying this likely isn't Mr Wallace's first BPS burgle, just his last....for a while.
