Re: “Bob Ballinger spits on the voters of Arkansas, wants to roll back minimum wage for thousands

Marvin, my everyday dictionary has several definitions of democracy. Majority rule is but one of six definitions -- #3 to be exact -- for the word.
I've got a larger dictionary around here somewhere that may well have additional definitions, but I'm too lazy to search for it.
Actually, the Internet is probably the be all/end all source for such information anyway.

Re: “Rep. Nicole Clowney on education, disagreements and who runs the world

Thank you, Olphart. You've saved me from sputtering in irritation again.

Re: “The legislative shop of horrors: Kim Hammer's campus speech bill

Uhm, might that list protect, say, a certain newly elected liberal representative calling someone, oh, like the president, an MFer?
My guess is that Hammer and company would freak out upon hearing that such an event was in the works.

Re: “Also on the legislative agenda: Implanted microchips

First thought on starting to read: Now that's stupid. Why would anyone allow their employer to microchip them?
Uh huh. Well, it's still stupid, but maybe we have a few(?) stupid people around.
On the other hand, maybe it does make sense in terms of Alzheimer's and dementia patients. Maybe.
But then why not your other family members, etc., etc., etc.? Final thought? It's still stupid.
If somebody wants to know where I am and what I'm doing, let them try following me. Although that might result in an unpleasant scene if I find out.

Re: “Bob Ballinger spits on the voters of Arkansas, wants to roll back minimum wage for thousands

Ya know, I think there are still a couple of pitchforks down at the barn. Now to find out how to make a proper torch.
And since we've advanced to the 21st century, maybe round up an old tire or two? "Necklaces", ya know.
Oh, well. Idle thoughts. I wonder how much outrage we'll hear from the public, voters or otherwise. Or are we a state of fools?
Aw, never mind. The Trumpanoffs have that covered.

Re: “State development efforts: A $200 million 'super project' and more

And what the heck is causing my words to break where they shouldn't, something I'm fairly certain I'm not doing?

Re: “State development efforts: A $200 million 'super project' and more

Gee, anyone got the fantastic SUCCESSFUL number for past "huge state welfare payments to private businesses in support of major Arkansas projects"?
I remember some proposals touted. How many have materialized? Or not? And at what cost to taxpayers?
