Re: “Goose hunt delay: Baiting concern? UPDATE

Ok, stop with the we care more about animals than people. We donate to the Arkansas Food Bank, I and many of us fight for human rights issues. One can feed the hungry without being a backward redneck bully who just needs to try to improve his self estem, because somewhere deep down, he feels inadiquate about his masculinity. I am a Christian and I can tell you that God has NO beef with me for being comassionate. Can you say the same?

Re: “Protest develops on Burns Park goose hunt UPDATE

Sound Policy... This is off subject, but I see your pic is of a Rufous Hummingbird. Are you here is Central Arkansas? Is this bird presently feeding at your home? I have Rufous for the second year in a row.

Re: “Protest develops on Burns Park goose hunt UPDATE

I really like geese and I know that something has to be done to control the population. My problem is that there are a few Cackling Geese that winter in Central Arkansas and usually reside with the Canadas at Burns Park and Cooks Landing. The Cackling Goose is a rare migrant for Arkansas. I doubt these hunters will be able or even care to know the difference in the species. I'd really hate to see these rare geese get killed with the resident geese. I also have a problem with it being called a hunt. You can walk right up to these geese.... Goose kill would be more appropriate. Noone is going to "hunt" these geese. That would require skill and stelth.
