Lets not forget that in 2011 during a legislative session rusty Cranford paid then senator gene Jeffrey his brother hank Wilkins and one other representative to get Act 36 passed dealing with extortion of money from bail bondsmen at a rate of $100 per year per agent to be paid to the Arkansas professional bail association as educational fees then the APBA turned around and paid rusty Cranford the money collected all while executive director or the Arkansas professions bail bond licensing board (APBBLB). Larry Peters used his office to pressure the board to allow collecting money pursuant to Act 36 of 2011. This was public money collect by Assn and paid to rusty Cranford which was brought to light by the Arkansas legislative audit
