Re: “Eldridge hits Boozman for refusal to consider Supreme Court nominee

After observing "our" current Attorney General since her term began, I cannot help but wonder how she ever possibly passed the bar exam.

Re: “Teachers' union wary of governor's Teach for America investment, alludes to proposed National Board Certification rule change

I am a teacher who holds National Board licensure and the PhD. I would just like to say to my fellow citizens, those who voted to give the republicans control of our state government - thank you. Thank you for voting for people who are anti-education, anti-teacher, anti-union, well, heck, pretty much these yahoos are anti-ANYTHING that is good for the average non-millionaire, you know, things like unions, single-payer health care, strong well-funded public schools, public libraries, a minimum wage that allows one to actually survive and thrive, and so on. These geniuses are against ANYTHING with the word "Public" in front of it, because that means - SOCIALIST!! Horrors! Too bad these dingbats don't even know the difference between Socialism and cashews.

So, dear, friends and fellow citizens, if you want our state to continue its downward trend towards the condition of Kansas, then by all means, continue to vote for anti-education boobs who apparently hate teachers even more than they hate people who receive WIC or food stamps - soon, this will be all teachers as well, as our benefits and pay continue to either be cut or allowed to stagnate. But, hey it is all good, as long as the kochs and the other wealthy gasbags continue to send campaign cash to our so-called "representatives". Yeah, they represent, all right - just not me or anyone else who works to make our sate better and to help educate our kids. Because, you know, that is not important.
