Re: “Secretary of state aide on Hannity

Nothing unusual. The Republicans seem to be unable to understand basic morality.

Re: “Lee County justice: the mistrial of Curtis Vance

I must admit that I was living in Las Vegas when he got tried there. I enjoyed it and felt a little vindication. Admittedly he got screwed in Las Vegas, but sometimes what goes around comes around.

Re: “Lee County justice: the mistrial of Curtis Vance

Unfortunately it is a race issue. I am an old retired prosecutor. When working I had a very close friend that was Black. About the only time we disagreed over a case was the OJ Simpson case where the evidence was DNA. My friend would never concede that OJ was guilty even though I had seen him prosecute cases with far less evidence.

Re: “Outrage: $700,000 tax money for private organization

Well, since Jesus is just as dead as everyone else, I guess it is not a sure thing, but even the idea is stupid, selfish, ignorant and typical of the thinking of those who seem to think of sports as salvation.

Re: “Bible bill passes education committee

There is one thing that I can be sure of - if they could find teachers educated enough to teach the course, most of the students would be Atheists by the time they completed their studies.

Re: “Harding responds on blocking gay website

I can understand your problems to some extent, however it does seem to be somewhat non-productive for you to continue on at a University that continues to uphold the anti-gay attitudes of Arkansas.

Re: “Tea Party teaches constitution

Anyone who reads the 28 principles that are going to be taught in the classes should realize that this is but another attempt for religion to take over. They came from that scoundrel Skousen of John Birch Society fame and were recently reactivated by Glenn Beck. Between Silverman and Carney I cannot decide who is sneakier. They really try to put things over on people.
