It is pretty obvious the hurting that this child was suffering with was from the previous sexual abuse before the age of 6 by her family member that was supposed to protect her. Here she is suffering alone in the Harris home being punished and ignored in an empty room. If he can not even read the report pertaining to his indirect abuse ecause he is too delicate to fully internalize the sexual abuse his adopted daughter suffered, he obviously could not handle addressing her past enough to get her the help she needed in the first place. They failed those girls as adoptive parents, just as much as their biological parents failed, and the "rehomed" rapist parent failed. Harris should be worried what other people think of him (besides his wife and kids who obviously didn't resist ditching two little girls who are part of their family)... he can't silence everyone with manipulatively place bible verse.
