Though a Christian, I do not think that it is in any way appropriate for Christians to force any sort of practice on others. It is wildly disrespectful, arrogant, and espouses the posture of a bully, not the character of Christ. Forcing anything upon a person is outrageously disrespectful.
If people want to pray, let them. If they do not want to, they are (or should be) free to not participate. Prayer was to be a way of life and pursued in secret, not done for all to see or to puff oneself up.
