Re: “SWEPCO power line proposal draws fire

I understand growth I am from a bigger city and I have seen a Berryville size town become a product of unstoppable growth. It is good for some things but in reality with those good comes things you wont see quick but will happen. You want more jobs you want more things to do, you want you want you want, with this want, want ,want comes more people which means more housing, less beauty, more crime, bigger police force, more need for bigger schools, more need for school police Craig cant do it by himself, it comes with more traffic= more construction, noise, pollution, more imminent domain. NOW! those of you who want the Mayberry style town you can not have your cake and eat it to. We need to expand but with caution and knowing what Will happen.

Re: “Yarnell's files Chapter 7 bankruptcy

It is a sad day when any arkansas based company has to go under, my family has enjoyed this wonderfull ice cram for many years and will miss them deeply. This is not just a compan it is a group of people who loved the job they did and if arkansans would stand up and purchase arkansas products this may not happen to another great company. I know in the years i can remember arkansas had many companies here putting arkansas people to work, companies like carrier, atkins, yarnells, borden, coleman milk. they are all gone whos next, keep buying products from other countries and states and find out whos company will close and pur arkansas families out of work keep buying wal mart crap and see who next.
