While I try to stay out of comments of such a nature, I feel I should on this Occasion. Robert E. Lee released his slaves before the end of the war. Davis and Lincoln both did NOT until after the war. Do more research before sputtering ignorance. Simple Fact, King is a Federal Holiday. Lee is a State Holiday. It is the States choice as to keep it or remove. I have seen raisism from both sides. Just because your African-American doesn't make you the only one. Even whites suffer this from other groups but because "your" ancestors suffered you blame people of today for actions of those in the past. You Say " The Shame Of" yet you have no shame about others thoughts or beliefs. You have the right to believe how you wish. As do others. Regardless of Race we all deserve respect but must also give it. Please take the time to Read more and discover truth. Remember the Victor Writes the History.
