Re: “Church tells gay man he's unwelcome as member unless he repents

My parents were Baptists. I stopped going when I was a teen and my dad gave me an ultimatum:
Go to church or move out.
I moved out.
I'm not surprised at things like this coming from Baptists.

Re: “Open Carry fails in committee

The gunners never seem to let up. They won't be happy until there's 50 guns for every U.S. citizen. Probably not even then.

Re: “Just as I am — with a Glock

I'm trying to figure out how to get my rocket launcher hidden under my Sunday-go-meetin' clothes.

Re: “Blanche Lincoln now officially a lobbyist

Disappointing but the politicians have feathered their nest for a long time. I used to be amazed that they did these things without any embarrassment or shame whatsoever. Not anymore. These greedy people just barge to the trough and start guzzling away. They really have no pride.

Re: “Petrino falls as Hogs rise

They should not be suprised about Petrino. Everyone knew what they were getting when he was hired. Petrino + integrity = zero.

Re: “Former Baptist minister to be paroled on sex crime

Why the outpouring of support when he was arrested? Was there an outpouring of support for the victims or the victim's families? Who were these supporters and what were they thinking? His age? HIS health? Dangers to child molesters in prison? And, how could his "good works" possibly outweigh what he did to the kids that may affect them the rest of their lives? This guy doesn't deserve any breaks at all. None!
