That sums up the whole racing industry right there. Lies, obfuscations and delusions. If she's spent as much time around racing and greyhounds as she says, there's no way she wouldn't know what is really happening to the dogs.

Track owners want out, the big gambling interests want out, the gambling public wants to be left to their poker and slots. That should tell you all you need to know about greyhound racing right there, except that as it dies the danger to the dogs will mount.
