Re: “Activists say Tom Cotton has issued do-not-call-or-write notice to some constituents. UPDATE. Such letters sent in 'extreme circumstances' says Cotton's office.

First amendment to the US Constitution:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

Harass all you want. You have a right to freedom of speech and the right to petition you government for a redress of grievances. If he doesn't want criticism, get out of government!

Re: “Memphis Council votes removal of Confederate general Forrest's remains from city park

Forrest City may be named after a racists, but Harrison was once (and maybe still is?) a sundown town. I believe it is also the headquarters for the KKK. Let's deal with the actual problems of racism before we discuss name changes. Do you really think racism will disappear from Forrest City if the name gets changed? The people of Forrest City should be the only ones discussing a name change. It should be their decision and theirs alone.
If you want to encourage change, how about building a bypass around Harrison? Punish them economically. I would rather see that than the Ark leg. forcing a name change for Forrest City. Honestly, how well known is it that Forrest City was named after Nathan Bedford Forrest? I'd stop in Forrest City and spend my money there sooner than I'd stop in Harrison to spend money.

Re: “Torii Hunter calls writer a prick for asking about endorsement of Asa Hutchinson

I just love this quote: "Asa is committed to the principles we hold dear, like a strong faith in God, equal justice for all, and keeping marriage between one man and one woman." Equal justice for ALL, and then calls for marriage INEQUALITY. IN THE SAME SENTENCE. Hey Torii, how does keeping consenting adults from marrying the person of their choice promote "equal justice for all"?

Re: “Arkansas Poll director talks about big gap in Senate results

Vote Democrat, don't let people like Tom Cotton, Asa Hutchinson and Tim Griffin take over. If this survey is legitimate, the Republicans have a big lead, so get out there and vote while you still can. Apparently Democrats need a big turnout.

Re: “UPDATE: Paragould to put officers with AR-15s on the streets

I'm sorry but I don't believe this for a moment. If it is true, then I plead with ANYONE to tell the fuckers to piss off, get arrested and then get the ACLU involved and sue the Paragould PD so bad that they won't be able to hire another officer or buy any new equiptment for 50 years!

Re: “UA to give Alice Walton honorary degree

Well thank goodness, now that she has that degree she can finally make something of herself.
