Re: “State Education Department's double standard complicates bond vote

I have two sons at Central. The facilities are deplorable and are getting worse. The LRSD is not going to have to worry about private companies taking over because at the rate kids are transferring out of district there will not be a LRSD. I challenge Mr. Brantley to tour the facilities and not just the hallways but actually go into the classrooms, in the basements, into the weight room under the stadium which could double as a dungeon, around the track that has 3 ft deep pot holes in it and the baseball field who can't keep grass seed on it because when there is a strong rain it floods due to the lack of drainage. Then walk over to the portable classrooms because there is no room in the school. There have been no better ideas offered in the last 10 years. Vote YES because these facilities need to be immediately updated and you can't worry about what ifs.
