Re: “A swing and a miss from Loca Luna

I've encountered both sides of LL's efforts, and while I want it to succeed there are often some days that just fall below expectations. That said, I'll continue to support a local business as long as they "hit it out of the park" more times than not. The Little Rock Community is so small, with so many gifts of available talent, if we don't focus on local they'll move on or most likely fail. Give me a Chef Abernathy, or Ferneau (future tense), a Brave New, a Bossa Nova, a Lilly's, a Rocky's Pub, Restaurant Capeo, the Root Café, Mylo Coffee Co., Big Orange, and several extremely well played sushi and burrito efforts found in the city....I prefer all of these over a franchised cupcake place any day and I'll be happy.
On a different note, I recognize that successfully running & executing a restaurant/business is extremely difficult...It's why I get excited about new places and a bit hesitant on their lasting success. These articles can provide invaluable insight for a new entrepreneur, and I applaud the honesty. Hopefully, as a community, we can take this in stride only to improve our selves and make what LR has available even more successful and more prevalent. You all have my vote:)

Re: “Redbone's Downtown headed to River Market

^Agreed^ But never could figure out how a burrito & taco stand couldn't make it at the rivermarket latenight beer food item of choice. I LOVE the progress with the market, but success is not the normality.
