Re: “The party of ethics

Oh Max. Are you excusing a Class D felony - for your Candidate Leslee Post? Is it because she hasn't been convicted yet? Clearly, the State Trooper who knew it was illegal to use the ACIC for political purposes. He decided to violate the law anyway. He has donated over $250.00 to the Post campaign. He illegally tapped the computer. That's a crime. He have the information to the Post Campaign. That's a Felony. The Post campaign used the information and campaigner Wolf Grulkey filed a suit (one that I believe he does not have the right to file - we'll deal with that on appeal). That's a felony.

Are you excusing all these felonies, Max?

Isn't the Post campaign being a bit hypocritical by committing the infamous crimes they are complaining that Mr. Fite committed? Mrs. Post has made herself ineligible to hold office by her actions and the actions of those whom she has used to try to win the election (that she lost 59% to 41% in the popular vote).

I didn't like it when "W" won by chad fiat in the US Supreme Court, and I don't like it when the rules are bent in State Court to reach a certain result.

It ain't right Max, and nothing you can say will make it right.

We offered them a fair fight after the election - they wouldn't take it. They wanted a ruling from Judge Kilgore to post inside the polling places stating that votes for Fite will not count. Where's the 100 foot barrier on electioneering? Guess it doesn't exist when the County Judge is the electioneer? But, I guess you'd excuse that one too, wouldn't you Max?

Lastly, legitimate law enforcement purpose involves a criminal investigation, not a political one. Get your facts Max! You are a better reporter than this. Has the ability to use opinion rather than facts swayed your writing?
