Re: “Effort to preserve punishing landlord-tenant law continues

Looks like the property manager where I live is filing charges in the morning. Hence.. she's been fired by the owners but is currently in her role until October. I was harassed and verbally attacked in the hallway by the woman living under me. She complained I had boxes outside my door, I was moving in. Mad she heard me walking and said I was too loud. One time I was on the couch watching a movie. This woman made my life hell and manager allowed her and accused me of everything the woman did. It was crazy. I ignored the nasty notes on my door but when she began banging on my door, I wrote her a note that if she continued I would report her... 3 times I had to call police. We were able to keep extra whatever in the basement and an antique table I had was ruined by someone scrapping it. I moved to a back apartment because it has a private rooftop balcony and she never told me I couldn't use it. I chose to pay $300 more monthly for the balcony and now I can't use it. When I moved to the back I left the woofer to my stereo in the hall. Rather than be kind and say something she threw it away. I was working on my headlights with a kit from Amazon, left for an hour and she came by and threw it in the dumpster claiming it was trash.. yet didn't pick up the trash around it. So, I deducted $185 from my rent. I know it's bold.. but she purposefully threw my things away. She needs to be held accountable. I wonder who will win this one:)
