Re: “The elephant debate continues UPDATE

Back to the elephant.

Isn't there an elephant sanctuary near Conway?

I love animals but an no expert. I hope they find a companion and keep her where she's at. I like going to the zoo even though ours isn't that great. So there my selfish opinion keep here here so I can go gawk at her.

Her keepers do care for her well being believe it or not.

Can't transporting animals and putting them into new environments stress them greatly.

Re: “New offerings, same surroundings at Cozymels

Popular? Anytime I've been it's almost empty.
On the border is better and cheaper texmex in my opinion.

Used to go there for lunch but got tired of smelling like an ashtray the rest of the day. Food is good though

Re: “Three scalpers arrested at UA-LSU game

Thats a good point I didn't take into consideration the "donations" required to purchase tickets.

However, you know there are people who don't donate and buy up tickets as soon as they go on sale to scalp them. Especially in other states where it isn't illegal. Stubhub and sites like that enable them.

But you guys are right they are worth what people are willing to pay.

Re: “Three scalpers arrested at UA-LSU game

I would bet that there were more than 60k on the golf course. The stadium holds 50k I'm sure it was sold out and there were still a lot of people on the golf course during the game.

And I think scalping should be illegal everywhere. I don't want someone buying up all the tickets at face value to sell them for a profit. Sporting events and concerts are expensive enough as it is.

Re: “Something different for lunch

I love Bossa Nova. When I first saw the menu I was a little turned off, but came to love the food when I tried it. That Carne sandwhich is awesome. I'm not a fish person but like their talapia and there are some chicken crepes that are really good too.

Great place for gluten intollerance.
