Re: “When food becomes obsession

Trio's has The Works sandwich with pimiento cheese, bacon and fried green tomatoes grilled on sourdough bread on our current sandwich menu for the rest of this week (while green tomato supplies last). After that we will switch to a grilled Reuben sandwich and offer The Works as an occasional weekly special during the winter. You may also want to try an off-the-menu, stand-alone pimiento cheese with mayo, lettuce and tomato on multi-grain or sourdough, whichever strikes your fancy. We would like to get your comments about our pimiento cheese to help us decide if we should have it permanently on our corporate catering or in-house menus: admin@triosrestaurant.com. Thanks, Brent Peterson

Re: “Brave New still winning

Let's take a guess that the fifth onion is the one you mention as the garnish: chives.

Re: “Hearing set in West Memphis Three case

The breath holding could be from those waiting to hear the actual dates for the three weeks of the hearings which will fall sometime between those Oct. - Dec. dates listed above. Of course, sooner would seem to be better than later unless something significant were to turn up and take a little more time for DNA testing results to come out.

Re: “The Observer, Jan. 18

Objsectivity needs to go out the window at some point in the face of injustice. Someone has got to stand up when a collective under-the-rug sweeping happens and blinder-adorned state government leaders are the norm. Both the Arkansas Times and Mara Leveritt are shining examples and beacons of hope in this regard. Thank you, Brent Peterson
