Re: “Inmate death in single cell in East Arkansas Unit referred to State Police

ShineonLibby I agree, below is a link that may need a follow-up. I spoke to a person who has been in prison over 40 years and he said this is the worst he has ever seen it inside the ADC.

Re: “Inmate death in single cell in East Arkansas Unit referred to State Police

Do we ever get a public report about these deaths? It appears that a press release is given, the state police investigate and the ADC looks into it but I don't recall anything further.

Re: “Prison director blames breakout on inadequate fencing

Blame it on the fence... as good as any reason I guess? Why not answer why these 6-8 prisoners were in solitary was it for having too many photos of momma? or something more serious? How many of these prisoners were in need of mental health services, on antipsychotic meds? It simply makes no sense to me that this occurs and their demand is to 'get transferred to Varner Supermax' (not exactly a country club) what is really going on here? BTW the remaining 500 or so in this prison did not participate... hopefully this will be noted at some point.

Re: “Three shots fired after Tucker Max breakout

There is rarely a bit of honesty that ever comes out of the AR. Dept. of Correction... they will say and do anything and they do so much damage to so many people inside and outside those cages.. disgraceful.

Re: “Death in Texarkana jail. Was it 'natural'?

Arkansas has a contract with this company to house Arkansas prisoners in Bowie County.

Re: “Legislators hear testimony on problems in parole system: UPDATE

The "fix" to the system is to have the prosecutors follow the same rules as parolees. When the prosecutors "play loose and fast with the law"... they should be picked up and placed into custody (just like the parolee) and not be under "absolute immunity".
