Re: “Let there be guns everywhere

SHALL NOT be infringed. Back in the good old days where you could tell the difference between a man and a woman without having to argue about it, there werent many laws dealing with guns. The law was incredibly simple in fact. Dont screw up or shoot someone that didn't need to be shot and all was good.

Fact of the matter is...ANY law is an infringement. A law, like it or not, is a limitation of Freedom. Granted, we need some laws, but many of them are just the work of meddeling lawyers and politicians seeking more control.

For those that can not or choose not to understand, SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED, I ask you this...what other Amendment of the Constitution specifically uses the language of " SHALL NOT NE INFRINGED" ? Apparently the Founding Fathers thought the Second Amendment to be an important right. It wasnt about the guns. It was about the ability to live free from fear or not having to bend to the will of a tryrant.

As for the "Cowboy" arguments and those that say "blood will run in the streets" it's a bunch of tired ole hype that those that lack imagination simply regurgitate.

There are several states where it is perfectly legal to open carry and there is no blood flowing there.

As for the Politicians carrying guns in the Legislative sessions, perhaps if they did they would show each more respect. I have no fear of them carrying firearms because most of them arent even smart enough to figure out how to operate one and many of them are scared of things that they dont understand.

As for the bars, schools, kindergartens, churches and private homes, in case one hasnt noticed, outlawing guns there does not prevent one from getting shot. All it does is provide a target rich environment for those that dont follow the law.

Not only does it not make any sense, but requiring people to be defensless in some places is immoral and only guarantees an active shooter some success.

If you want to curl up in the fetal position and hide under a chair when some crazy starts shooting that's fine...just dont require me to do it to. I want the means to not only fight back...but to win.
