Re: “Murkowski resolution fails

Waldo, ActMax- Really? I mean, really? Show me one study that says that EPA action or Congressional action will raise bills a $1000 a month. Do you honestly believe any politician would even propose such a thing unless they would retire in the same press release. For all the talk of climate change paranoia and hysterics, tell me, who's painting the doomsday scenario here? Oh, and Waldo, EPA is acting because the Supreme Court ordered them to. You see, some folks in California wanted to take action on greenhouse gas emissions via automobile regulations. Someone thought, "hey, I think that CO2, GHG, fit the definition of a pollutant under the Clean Air Act." They took it to court. It went alllllll the way up to the Supreme Court. Waldo, that's the highest court in the land. When it got there (which happened relatively recently) the Supreme Court ruled that yes, CO2 was a pollutant and therefore EPA should be regulating it under the Clean Air Act. Had EPA not regulated it, that would have stood in defiance of the- wait for it- JUDICIAL BRANCH! Oh noes! Checks and balances is so complicated! Honestly, learn just a touch about the issue before you go running off at the mouth.
