Re: “House approves bill to force guns on college campuses

Love how the media uses word play to convey their personal stand on things. How about, "House allows legal guns with permits on college campuses", because this title would suggest students have a choice to protect themselves. You see in the real world, people go through background checks twice, once when they buy a gun and a federal background check to get a carry permit to ensure you are a law biding individual. Also in the real world their are rapes, robberies, and murders on campus, by people who do not give two sh!ts about the law and will carry a gun regardless. Those of us in reality understand that any gun free zones would limit those lawful citizens to protect themselves, because......uh ...they follow the law and mass murders or criminals have shown total disregard to gun free zones. Gun free zones do not work at campuses, movie theaters, or bars, because again, criminals don't care. Journalistic integrity is an oxymoron, thanks Arkansas Times for a biased article written in the style of a high school newspaper in the idealistic and utopian world of unicorns and rainbows.
