Re: “French Hill: NRA favorite in the U.S. House

Overheard at the capital today... GOP rep Mickey Gates district 22 from Garland County regarding gun laws " I dont believe in car seat laws for kids; I know a judge whose baby was killed by one."
Asked him to look at the data there about car seat death vs gun death for kids and he says he doesnt have to as he has firsthand knowledge.
--this guy is dumb Garland County!

Re: “Trump's bait and switch on budget, infrastructure

The infrastructure donors got a huge corporate tax cut but not the windfall of business they thought would roll their way.
Highway and bridge building traditionally employs the same set of workers and enrich the same companies. The tax on river transport diesel is minuscule. Arkansans would benefit from raising wages particularly for the many in nursing home, food service and daycare and health delivery sector. Raising the gas tax hurts a little but not a lot compared to filching from other sources.

Re: “Government in the shadows; the Arkansas Senate likes it that way

I have noticed they also move around certain measures or votes a lot. If you try to listen, you often miss what you show up for.
Streaming must be available. Why would any be against this?
