Re: “Same as it ever was: UAMS' $39 million deficit gets a hearing, not a solution

UAMS has a campus in Fayetteville.

And Arkansas Children's Hospital will be opening their 24 bed Fayetteville hospital in a couple of months.…

UAMS's faculty also work at Ark Children's, especially the pediatric department of the College of Medicine.

Re: “Jason Rapert and the liberal occupation of Virginia

She cares about the local issues that are important to the citizenry of her district. Like many liberals, she knows the issues that matter to her neighbors.…

Last night and this morning, I hadn't thought of the bonus of JR's head exploding. Makes me giggle and grin.

Re: “Warren Stephens' offshore investment turns up in Paradise Papers

Undercover Boss has been that show to counter the notion that the free market is a system that enriches a few at the expense of the many. Much more subtle than "This is Capitalism"

Re: “Government report details climate change threat

I like to get advice from doctors and nurses about my health. And, I might get a second opinion from another health professional someday if I feel it's needed.

I like to get guidance from people that know about cars if I have an issue with my vehicle.

Call me crazy, but I think it's better to contact people that work on computers or have extensive knowledge about computers if I have a computer virus or malfunction that I hope they can help me solve.

Maybe it's just me: I'll contact a plumber or electrician or a contractor with years of experience and knowledge if there's something wrong with my house that's up their alley.

I'll check in with my uncle the CPA or other tax professional about itemized deductions before I ask my friend at the checkout at Kroger.

So, having said that, "they", with hands in front of their eyes and plugs in their ears and AC turned to 72 for ten months of the year, will continue to join with the Trump and Republicans and "pundits" with no climate science experience if they want, ...

or...maybe accept soon that the 95+% of those that have years of scientific education, experience, and tools in climate analysis might have the better grasp of our current and future reality on climate. Not to mention that most of the rest of the world has accepted that climate change is man-made.

When they maintain the all-tribal position and are a faithful little minion/disciple, excuse me if I resist them trying to convince me there's a scientific conspiracy with climate scientists when they ignore an obvious conspiracy by the oil companies and fossil fuel industry.…

It has been a long time past the time to drop the worship of and faithfully following of climate change Denialists. I guess they'll keep believing that God makes world hotter and He'll do something to change it.

Re: “Tom Cotton hypocrisy watch: What will he do on Trump judicial nominees?

I don't think I can remember a time where a Republican put up a defense when a charge of "hypocrite" was entered. Either Republicans don't know the meaning of the word or they don't care being called a hypocrite. If they know the meaning, maybe they're proud of it.

OMG! You bought the domain and created an "intervention" website over the weekend to go along with the letter?! Wow! Sweet!
