Re: “UPDATE: Midnight pay raise at Little Rock City Hall

From what I hear, their system for tracking paid time off of managers suck. I think it's on a spreadsheet.

What's the policy on who approves time off for the mayor or the city manager?

Or if he was out of town or out of the office doing personal stuff, what employee is going to rat him out?

Re: “Tom Cotton pats himself on the back for defeating Clarke Tucker

Cotton is basically saying I'm great at lying to voters and have a great deal of contempt for most of them. As long as we can fool them for the sake of our party, we will. I will carry on and set an example.

Voters won't notice until their Medicare benefits and insurance coverage go away.

Re: “Push pause on Arkansas's Medicaid work requirement, federal oversight panel says

I mean, outside of those that go through the pain of healthcare coverage loss. They suffer most.

Ultimately clinicians and those getting insurance through the marketplace are harmed through no fault of their own

Re: “Counting the uncountable votes on ballot issues UPDATE: Lots of opposition to Issue One

Might as well start collecting the signatures to get term limits on the ballot in 2020. Leslie just needs to bless it, right? Not as many rules to follow if you make sure canvassers are volunteers and that they know what they're doing.

This time, none of the mistakes that got them thrown off this year. That won't happen again.

Re: “Trump administration moves to limit insurance coverage for birth control pills

Just a reminder that many contraception medications aren't just about birth control. Sometimes they are prescribed to help with endometriosis. Many men don't know what that is, especially legislating Republican ones that think they know better about how to take care of women than women do or their physicians.

If you are so ignorant and don't know other health benefits to birth control pills, go read here or search on your own. https://www.womenshealthmag.com/health/a19…

If you are so worried about women's sexual activity or proclivities across the country that you want to deny them access to reproductive healthcare, then that's your problem. You're restricting other's freedom of choosing their form of medication and millions of Americans have a problem with you for limiting good healthcare practices because of your overindulgent sense of morality. You don't need to involve yourself with the choices of women you don't know.
