Re: “STOP This Outrageous Project. I-30 expansion is freeway to nowhere.

not to mention that by the time this project is "done", self-driving fleets of electric uber vehicles will have reduced overall traffic by over half....

Re: “We can do better, Little Rock

I can taste the hate at chick-fil-a...but I just call it polynesian sauce...and it's amazing.

Re: “We can do better, Little Rock

@amy kelley bell: someone else told me about the chicken sandwich at SoMa today. I am sure I will try it at some point. But as someone else mentioned above, it's simply not an option for lunch when I am in an entirely different part of town. I subscribe to a meat share from Falling Sky and spend a ton of $ at local places. In fact, I am about to throw a Falling Sky t-bone on the grill. But none of that takes away from the fact that CHICK-FIL-A IS DELICIOUS!

And @DrewJD is right: to most Arkansans, chick-fil-a IS the expensive option! It's fancy compared to mcdonald's. I don't really care because I love chicken sandwiches and tenders. I was in Las Vegas 2 weeks ago and saw a review that a place had the best chicken tenders ever. $16 for a plate of 5 tenders and fries, but it did not even come close to the deliciousness of chick-fil-a.

Re: “We can do better, Little Rock

I avoided chick-fil-a for nearly 4 years due to politics...and I regret it. Since my "re-discovery" of the amazing chick-fil-a sandwich a few months ago, I eat there at least twice per week. Perhaps instead of crying about how much money chick-fil-a makes you should encourage local restaurants to aspire to the clear success of chick-fil-a. The market has spoken, and chick-fil-a rules.
I do go out of my way to eat local and support local restaurants/farms. If a local restaurant had anything comparable to the deliciousness, speed, polite service, and quality of a chick-fil-a sandwich, I would eat there. But they don't.

Re: “Uber starts car service in Little Rock without City Board approval

trying to get a cab in this city is a nightmare....if you can even get one at all... let the market decide if Uber succeeds or fails....and let the court systems work out any issues related to liability.
