Re: “UPDATE: Has somebody found Waldo (Dustin McDaniel)?

JohnQ - I don't think this is getting blown out of proportion, nor is a "federal case" being made of it. This is nothing more than the people of Arkansas seeking some response - any response - from Dusty McD as to why we should even consider paying attention to this morally bankrupt "leader".

I guess the other option is for Ol' Dusty to say nothing, and let the good people of Arkansas simply forget about him. But somehow I think Ol' Dusty would have a problem with that. He made his bed ... Let him lie in it.

Re: “Carter taps Democrat Holmstrom as chief of staff

I won't be surprised if the Repugs throw a temper tantrum with Rice leading the cry fest. It must suck when representative democracy doesn't go exactly like you want it.

Re: “Driver charged with murder after chasing down and hitting wallet thief

From West Little Rock post:
>Where exactly is this information here at AT? Nowhere to be found.

Excellent point, WLR. Why is the DG a better source of info at this point?

Re: “Driver charged with murder after chasing down and hitting wallet thief

Surprisingly, not as many "He should have been run over and beat up" comments here then I would have thought. Not sure if they are sleeping in or what this morning.

On the other hand, Forbidden Hillcrest has more than enough of them:…

To wit: "Michael Edgar: If I am on the jury this guy will never spend a day in prison..."

Welcome to the wild west, laides and gents. It's a new day in America.

Re: “Who's occupying what in Little Rock?

What is funny is you can see people breaking this law day in day out throughout the city. How often do you EVER see a police officer citing someone for crossing the street outside of a crosswalk? Never. And why? Because it doesn't matter and the police know they are way too busy to worry about such trivial matters. It's only when the jaywalking is done while someone is exercising their First Amendment rights does our local officials get involved.

As stated above, I would rather the police focus on perverts showing their junk to kids then waste resources harassing a handful of people protesting our corrupt government. Moreover, I wish the cops weren't hypocrites ... the cop is clearly obstructing traffic and for much longer than this guy was. The difference? Cops can do anything they want.

Re: “Nate Bell would require scholarship repayments if degrees not earned

What a backwoods, 8-head looking goofball. And then he opened his mouth and really looked stupid.

Re: “LRPD and what we don't know about rough cops UPDATE

It is a shame in this day and age the fact that cops do not wear cameras on their person to record all interactions with citizens. They spend Lord knows how much on guns, cars, para-military gear, etc., but don't have cameras running automatically 24/7.
