Re: “Arkansas Governor's School: Where are they now?

I forgot to mention that I have to thank Viola HS for putting me in for AGS, a great liberal arts and science experience, especially for a person who went on to follow the less traveled military/engineering/public service route: counselor, Ralph Moore; science teacher, Joe Smith; math teacher, Jackie Estes; music director, "Doc" Larry Ivens; business teacher Loyola Cain; principal, Jerry Taylor; and many more. -- James Hodges

Re: “Arkansas Governor's School: Where are they now?

I'm an AGS Math '86 alum from Viola, AR. I also graduated with a BS in civil engineering from the US Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs in '91, a MS in engineering and policy from Washington University in St Louis in '96, and a MA in management from George Washington University in DC in '99. I'm a member of Tau Beta Pi, the national engineering honor society. I currently serve as an active duty colonel in the US Air Force assigned as the commanding officer of Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in central New Jersey. James C. Hodges
