Re: “Food Feedback Friday: The week that food was king

Worth a visit to kBird in my opinion! Local ingredients, very nice pad thai. It's not as spicy as my husband would like, but it seems to me the freshness of the ingredients make the dish really stand out. Also the ginger cookies he makes are to die for. I like the pad thai so much I haven't really branched out to his other stuff.

Call ahead though.

Where else can you get good pad thai in LR?

Re: “Food Feedback Friday: The week that food was king

First time poster, long time reader. I had some delicious pork shoulder sliders (3 sliders) served with a mixed green salad at Natchez this week. At $9.50 it was a decent lunch deal for the quality and amount of food. The service there is a little weird--the restaurant only had 2 or 3 tables full the whole time we were there, yet it took awhile for the server to take our order. Won't stop me from going back, but it was a little odd. Really wish they would do a cup of soup and salad combo.
