Re: “Secretary of state review committee reports

Oh, and you won't find their employees on a list of state employees because NIC is a private company. INA is just the board that was set up under Huckabee to hire NIC. They were incorporated as Arkansas NIC at first but no longer are. I assume it was set up that way at first so they could claim to be an Arkansas company. INA hires NIC to run the state network and profit off of fees. AG McDaniel claimed FOI did not apply to these fees going to NIC (via INA) so nobody could find out how much they make.

NIC is also contracting with Arkansas counties, with the help of INA, to get fees for taking credit card payments for property taxes etc.

Re: “Secretary of state review committee reports

INA is actually nothing but a sham set up for a Kansas company called NIC.

I wish Max or somebody would do a little digging on them. They make millions off of fees for online payments that could be made for free without them. They have been around since Huckabee, and apparently Coleman doesn't know their board is full of Republicans. It's pure crookedness. The person running Arkansas' NIC division has had a place on the INA board which then rehires NIC with no-bid contracts.
