Re: “ACLU says hot check court in Sherwood operates as illegal debtors' prison

This should be a story about the banks and how they encourage people to write hot checks. They offer bounce proof checking so they can get $35 fees from a $3 check. They first had lobbyists attack check cashing businesses and shut them down so they could step in and charge way more than the law would let the check cashers.

Re: “$15,000 and a glass door settle Maumelle sexual harassment suit

You jackasses have no idea what your talking about. It was disgruntled employees that made fictitious claims and a witch hunt by a city counsel member that has done nothing but cause trouble for the city. Just because you read it on in a liberal newspaper does not make it true.

Re: “LR School Board member blasts colleagues as talk grows of state takeover of schools

If the schools were allowed to hold each and every kid in there to the same standards of education and discipline things would get better. People just hide behind the race card when their kids act like idiots at school. Start running them more like a military academy where kids are held accountable and punishment isn't just in school suspension where the school has to pay someone to babysit their kid that has acted bad. Inconvenience the parents some by making them come get their kid and stay home with him or her then they won't just overlook it as easy. And beat their butt when they get out of line. That's what is wrong with our schools today. No respect for authority, no discipline and no REAL consequences for their actions. And this is the exact reason when they get in society they have no respect for the police either!
