Re: “More GOP vote suppression

In Arkadelphia, it was about a small town not wanting college students from the two universities in town - who were seen by the locals as not REALLY living there - choosing their local JPs and elected officials.

Re: “Infamous crime

scrapper72 - I saw Holland's Z at the capitol on Tuesday and it did not have a state legislative license plate. My recollection is it was a specialty UofA plate with a razorback on it. Granted he may have changed the plates since Tuesday as I understand he was thinking about purchasing it from his sister. (a move he might want to rethink at this point)

Re: “Talk Business sued UPDATE

I should point out a few things.

1. I am friends with Roby. He has been very good to me in starting up my ventures in blogging. I make no apology for that.

2. I am not a legal expert and have no inside information on the details of the case. In my untrained opinion, it appears to be a frivolous lawsuit that I would have made the editorial decision not to do a story on. Arkansas Business made another decision. That is their judgment call to make.

3. My main point is that Arkansas Business was reporting this story on a competitor and should be given the same weight as Wendy's saying their hamburgers have more beef than McDonald's hamburgers.

Re: “Day of the doughnut

Dale's in Benton is truly the best. Their apple fritter is amazing.
