Re: “Bicyclist dies from McCrory wreck injuries

It is nearly a week later. No charges and no explanation from the police as to what happened. How much longer?

Re: “Bicyclist dies from McCrory wreck injuries

I am appalled that in light of such a tragedy as this there are people so callous as to suggest the victims were in the wrong. Read your drivers manuals, folks; bicyclists have the right to ride on the roads, same as people driving cars. There's room for both, providing motorists obey the laws, slow down and share the road.

My sympathy goes out to the family and friends of Merritt and to her traveling companions.

Re: “Fire on Cantrell Road

My best friend's mother grew up in this house in the 1920's and 30's. She was 91 when she died last month. Robber's Row is nearly gone.

Re: “Katchen at MOCA

As much as I like Carole Katchen's work, MOCA ain't MOMA.

Re: “Uphill battle for KABF

The volunteers at KABF and the community at large need to seriously ask why ACORN, a deservedly extinct organization, still has a death grip on this so-called community radio station.
